- The incentive towards experience in order to gain knowledge
‘carries the fair jewel which gives light upon its forehead’
(EA 289)in the final stage of development demonstrates as the illumined consciousness
(EA 488)- Leo
- The expression of … experience in daily life and … the effort to justify knowledge (EA 488)
- Achievement of self-mastery, personality control of groups (Aquarius). A combination of the will-to-illumine and the will-to-rule.
The will-to-illumine is that which drives all Leo people on to experiment and so to gain knowledge; it is this which links them with Taurus, which ‘carries the fair jewel which gives light upon its forehead’

- Aquarius
- The use of experience in order to make the gained knowledge a factor in service (EA 289)
Aquarius takes that experience and the knowledge gained thereby [in Leo], and turns it to conscious use in the service of the group.
